Pine Rivers Heritage Museum - HERITAGE TALKS

DateWed 8 Sep 2010
VenuePine Rivers Heritage Museum

Summer Getaways of Yesteryear - Train, tram, coastal steamer - the trip was nearly as much fun as the holiday. Peter Osborne and Sean O'Keeffe from the Cultural Heritage branch of the Department of Environment and Resource Management will talk about Sunshine Coast beach holidays from the late 1800s.

The Heritage Talks are held on the second Wednesday of every month at 10 am at the Pine Rivers Heritage Museum, Old Petrie Town, Dayboro Road Whiteside. Admission is free, morning tea is included and there is also the opportunity to have a look at the fascinating permanent and temporary exhibitions at the museum.

For more information or to RSVP for any of the talks please phone 3285 7213.
