The Fryer Library

The Fryer Library is one of the 14 branches of the University of Queensland Library and is responsible for special collections. Its collections include rare books, ephemera, manuscripts and photographs. Its particular strengths are in Australian literature and especially literary manuscripts, history and political culture with an emphasis on Queensland, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander studies, theatre, art and architecture.

Rapid and streamlined access to collections is facilitated by providing guides to collections online and digitising selected material.

Other days: 9:00am to 5:00pm
Closed Sundays
